Adam is a pragmatic risk management practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in the design, implementation and operation of Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity, Emergency/Crisis Management, Assurance and Corporate Governance frameworks. He brings energy and passion and is valued as a proven effective facilitator who prioritises helping clients to optimise their existing practices and processes.  He has a keen interest in Business Improvement, embedding sustainable people change and ensuring Enterprise Risk is aligned to Strategy.  Adam applies practical tools and proven techniques to help organisations be high performing, seek tomorrow’s opportunities and live out their desired corporate culture behaviours.

Adam was awarded the 2021 Consultant Risk Advisor at the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA).

Adam has considerable experience in stakeholder management and change management, particularly with executive, senior management, and cross-functional operational teams. He has held senior roles requiring strong leadership and conviction to embed continuous improvement, and he thrives in environments where there is scope to challenge and change, including where diplomacy and resilience are required.

Adam joined Metropolis Advisory in early 2020. Prior to this, he held senior corporate roles in the areas of Enterprise Risk and Property Management and has also held consulting roles that delivered successful outcomes to a range of clients in Australia and the UK – including utilities, insurance, education, transport, local government and NFP sectors. These varied experiences have shaped Adam’s consulting approach – tailoring solutions for clients which are practical and that deliver on their objectives.
